The Power of Prayer
Some people have a God-given passion to pray for others.
1 Intercession becomes a way of life for them. God, whom I serve with my whole heart in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you in my prayers at all times. (Romans 1:9-10a)
2 Intercession is the key God gives the Christian that unlocks the storehouse of Heaven. If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! (Matthew 7:11)
3 Intercession is one of the means by which God works in the lives of others. I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none. (Ezekiel 22:30)
