Pastor Don Olson

 

Bio

Pastor Don is very personable, who brings a refreshing blend of business and pastoral experience. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in business. He is also a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. After his graduations, Don was engaged in customer service industries before entering the ministry.

Don served over 11 years at Grace Christian Center in Pflugerville, Texas in various ministerial positions. The last 4 years he served on the pastoral staff learning the ministry literally from the ground up - many building programs!

Don also actively serves in the armed forces as a member of the United States Air Force Reserve. He has over 26 years of dedicated military service to his country. He honors his monthly commitment in Fort Worth, Texas. This explains the short haircut!

Don's pastoral/teaching style is straight from the word of God with an everyday application for the real world. He desires every believer in the church today to realize God has a "call to ministry" on your life. We have all been placed in the Body of Christ. Realizing "you have a call", preparing "for the call" and separating you "unto the call" is the role of Brushy Creek Church. We want you to find your place in God.

Don and his lovely wife, Laura, have been married since 1986. They have four young children: Joshua, Caleb, Moriah, and Rachel.
