Welcome to Brushy Creek Church Children’s Ministry

Our volunteer staff is committed to teaching children the Word of God and how to apply these truths to their daily lives, how to celebrate who God is with worship, and how to build a heart of compassion and hands to serve with joy and purpose.
We desire to partner with parents in their children’s spiritual development. We are committed to maintaining a loving, caring, and healthy environment for all children to thrive in. We will teach age appropriate Bible lessons interactive and relevant to today’s children. We will love and honor each child and provide safe boundaries for them and correct them when they step out of those boundaries. We will listen to them and see that they treat others with respect.
We want you, as parent, to inform us when something is going on with your child so that we might more effectively minister to them. We ask that you keep them home when they are sick, that you are willing to help when called upon and that you respect the teacher’s decisions and ask questions when there is something you are unsure of. We ask that you honor the age requirements set for each children’s area when you bring your children and visiting friends.
Sunday Morning Children’s Ministries:
“Little Lambs” - Birth to age 2 years -10:00 a.m.
Our nursery offers a clean and safe environment with loving volunteers to care for the little ones.
“Shining Stars”- Age 2 thru age 5 - 10:00 a.m.
Dedicated, loving volunteers lead these children with a Bible-based curriculum, currently “Disciple Land,” that teachs them about Jesus through Bible stories, songs, crafts, and play.
“Kingdom Kids”- 1st through 6th grade - 10:15 a.m. These children meet first with the adults in the 10:00 worship service for the first fifteen minutes then are escorted back to the Kingdom Kids area where volunteers provide opportunities for them to experience God’s presence and provision. The children are taught truths contained in the Word of God through inspiring and fun activities using the “Elevate” curriculum. At various times throughout the year they will take part in “Game Day” where they spend their “Kid’s Cash Bucks” that they’ve earned on previous Sundays. This is a time of meaningful and fun Bible lessons review. Birthdays are celebrated during “Game Day.”
